I am Alfredo, the founder of HURSTORM. We are a family operated business located in Puerto Rico, and I have been working in the technology retail and service industry for pretty much my entire live. Started in the retail and service business since 1993, in 2009 I founded HURSTORM as a Technology retailer and Information System consulting, but now I am sourcing, and buying unique fashion and technology products from around the world as well as products from my little Island, and selling it directly to you.
In 2016, I started selling online through ecrater and Facebook; it has been a different experience. The workload is more; the logistics very different compare to a brick and mortar store; but it has been very rewarding experience. While I was watching videos on YouTube I came across a video about selling on eBay, and on that moment, I decided to try it. I started planning and doing my research so here, I am.
I love reading articles about marketing, and I did found an interesting article about the top reasons why consumers return products. On the article says that 23% returned the items because they received wrong item, 20% because the product received looks different from the product advertised, and 20% because they received damaged product. Since I started selling, I always address those three points. I inspect and test everything, I try to be as specific as possible in the description and photos since the product is not in front of you, and about damage goods, well I wrap all the shipping carefully and inspect them before it is sent. Service is my main focus, you will come always first because that is how I like to be treated as a client.
